Question: All the equipment in the factory 'require or requires' servicing. Although equipment is an uncountable noun, but I used 'require' because of the presence of 'all'.

It's news to me too. I've never used equipment in the plural form, and several sporting equipments sounds horrible. I think a variety of equipment probably best conveys the idea of plural in this case. Any other suggestions?
